District Clean Up

The Mayor may schedule special clean-up campaigns in each of the council districts for which there shall be no charge during this scheduled period. Special clean-ups may also be conducted following natural disasters, as determined by the Mayor.

During this time, residents of single-family dwellings within the designated District will be given the opportunity to dispose of furniture, appliances, junk autos, etc. without being assessed the standard Special Pick-Up fees normally charged for oversized loads.  Special clean-ups will be conducted in accordance with the following schedule:

District 1 – January/June
District 2 – February/July
District 3 – March/August
District 4 – April/September
District 5 – May/October

Residents who wish to take advantage of this service can put items out on the day of your regular garbage pick-up or by contacting Environmental Services at 566-1133 to schedule a Special Pick-Up during your designated month.
