Move Safe Troy

The purpose of Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Discretionary Grants is to improve roadway safety by significantly reducing or eliminating roadway fatalities and serious injuries through safety action plan development and implementation focused on all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, public transportation users, motorists, personal conveyance and micromobility users, and commercial vehicle operators.

Move Safe Troy is The City of Troy's FY2023 Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Implementation Grant Application. SS4A Implementation Grant for Move Safe Troy implements several projects which are identified in the City of Troy's Multimodal Safety Action Plan (MSAP) that will enhance safety and equity by improving facilities for active transportation modes, pedestrians, and vulnerable road users (1) in historically disadvantaged communities, (2) in public housing authority communities, (3) along key routes to schools, and (4) in downtown Troy.
