The Troy Police Department holds itself to a high standard of Professionalism and Training. We are committed to providing the highest quality service to our citizens. Acting in partnership with the community, we work to promote a responsive and flexible approach to law enforcement as well as quality of life issues. The Chief of Police Danny Barron has 56 sworn officers that serve the citizens of Troy.  The Troy Police Department is divided into task specific units to provide the best service to our citizens.  These units consist of a Patrol Division, Criminal Investigation Division, Staff Services Division and a Special Operations & Events Division.

Guided by the principles outlined in Romans 13, we are committed to upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice, understanding that our role is to do good to those who do right and apprehend those who do wrong. We strive to build trust and transparency within our community, promoting safety and security through proactive policing and a collaboration with our community.
