10/12/2021 - 2021 Resurfacing Project

The City of Troy would like to inform the public that, based on revised projections by the contractor, the revised tentative start date of the 2021 Resurfacing Project on the following streets is currently set to start October 20, 2021. The following schedule is dependent on weather and other conditions and is subject to change:

 

  • Hanchey St. (10/20-10/22)

Portion of Hanchey St. from Pike St. to Love St.

  • E. Academy St. (10/20) (10/22)

Portion of E. Academy St. from N. 3 Notch St. to the railroad.

  • Murphree St. (10/20) (10/25-10/26)

Portion of Murphree St. from N. 3 Notch St. to joint after W. College St.

  • W. Fairview St. (10/26-10/28)

Portion of W. Fairview St. from Orion St. to Pine St.

  • Orion St. (10/26-10/28)

Portion of Orion St. from Trojan Way to Sun St.

Motorists are asked to use alternate routes to avoid these areas during these dates. During construction, these streets may be reduced to one lane and/or closed at times.

 

Please use caution and mind traffic signs, law enforcement, and construction workers in these areas during construction. Continue to watch for pedestrians and slow-moving vehicles.
